Ceremony & Reception Options
Outdoor Ceremonies, Ballroom Receptions & a Built-In Rain Plan
Two private getting-ready suites offer a place to prepare before exchanging vows outdoors with Schunnemunk Mountain beyond the gardens or inside the ballroom.
After the ceremony, guests move through the Manor, onto the wraparound porch, and across the grounds for cocktails, passed hors d’oeuvres, and attended food stations.
Dinner and dancing continue in the ballroom or beneath a sailcloth or clear-frame tent, while the porch, lawn, gardens, and fire pit area remain part of the evening.
When weather brings the ceremony indoors, guests continue into cocktail hour throughout the Manor while the ballroom is reset privately.
Manor & Ballroom Weddings
Host an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour across the estate before gathering in the climate-controlled ballroom for dinner and dancing. Designed for receptions of up to 150 guests, the ballroom combines historic character, modern comfort, and continued access to the porch, gardens, lawn, and fire pit.
Intimate Weddings
Mountainville Manor offers intimate wedding experiences beginning at 20 or 40 guests, with the ability to add guests up to 80. These are not abbreviated or discounted versions of a larger wedding. They are complete, chef-led celebrations with exclusive use of the estate, cocktail hour, dinner, bar service, wedding cake, and a full reception.
Tented Weddings
A rented sailcloth or clear-frame tent expands reception capacity to 225 guests, with space for custom floor plans, larger dance floors, lounge seating, specialty bars, floral installations, and live entertainment. Tented receptions are offered on select dates, while the same cuisine, service team, and coordination remain part of the experience.
